Kelli...one of my closest cousins I had growing up. We had too much fun together. We were really good at annoying our older siblings and cousins. She is getting married soon and I get to be their photographer! How lucky am I? I usually don't do weddings because I can't be away from my baby for that long. But since it's a family wedding, I have plenty of family to help out with my kids.

slacker

I am a slacker with my blog. Yikes! We have a lot going on right now. We are moving next month. I am trying to pack and organize the house, while trying to keep it clean all at the same time because we have to show our apartment. Plus, I am trying to get ready for our baby...which I am slacking at. Did I mention I am big and fat and I can barely move? It's been an adventure!

I am also slacking at my project life. No surprise there. I hope to get caught up soon.

Anyway, on to the pictures! My brother-in-law and his fiance are getting married in June and I'm so, so excited for them! I was super excited when they asked me if I could take their engagements. Here are some of my favorites...

A few random projects I've been working on:

My mom asked me if I could design a logo for their girl's camp shirts. I love the way it came out. The words will be white printed on a colored shirt. I can't wait to see the final result! It say's "I will stand" in case you couldn't figure it out.

I saw this quote on pinterest and a lady had written it up on her big chalkboard wall. I loved it, and I love chalkboard walls. But I have to admit, I have a little chalkboard board thingy that I never use. I honestly can't write on chalkboards for the life of me. So I decided to make it printable. I'm going to go and blow this puppy up and make a frame for it. That way I can change my chalkboard art in and out without touching chalk. I'll post photos when it's done!

P.S. I'm sorry if what I write makes zero sense and I have a million spelling and grammar errors. I'm dealing with a serious case of pregnancy brain.

hello, film!

We have a new member in our family. Her name is Canon eos 3...and yes, she is a film camera. I am so excited to begin my journey with film. My goal is to eventually shoot 50% film and 50% digital. These pictures I took were to test drive my new camera. I didn't use professional level film and I went to Walgreen's to get the film developed. Big mistake! Their scans are terrible quality. I didn't want to spend to much money on getting them developed and scanned because I really didn't have any idea if I had exposed correctly. Moral of the story, I should have had more faith in myself. I can't wait to see the results I will get by using a professional lab and professional level film. I think I just may fall hard and fast for film!

MEQUELLE + REGGIE

My sister is getting married in December. We are all so excited! We took their engagements up at our family cabin. It's a perfect place to take pictures! Of course, we had to sneak in a few family pictures too. Seriously, my sister looks like a model. When I'm in front of the camera, I'm just plain awkward. These two made my job easy with their posing skills ;) 

I also took some of their pictures in film, but I haven't developed them yet. I'm praying they turn out. Hopefully there will be a post with my film images soon!
