My cousin has some of the cutest kids ever! They are little balls of energy. What I love most about these pictures is how candid they are. Getting them to pose all at the same time was not going to happen. Thanks Kaylynne for letting me borrow your kids! 

I could kick myself for not having a reflector yet. I had major issues with shadows. Good thing these kids are so cute...they know how to work the shadows! haha

Deryk's turning one!

My nephew will be turning one soon! I feel like he was born yesterday. Babies grow up too fast. The pictures with him and his birthday cake are hilarious. He hated it! His mom was trying to get him to play in it, but he had no desire to. The frosting smeared everywhere was all his mom's doing. Ha Ha! He is so stinkin cute!

After this shoot I realized I really need to purchase a reflector. I had major issues with shadows and it ruined some really cute pictures. Learn from your mistakes, right? Anyway, here is the stud muffin!

Sorry the pictures are really bad quality. We live in a basement apartment and it was night, so there was like zero light.

More scrapbooking!

I seriously love photoshop. I don't know how I ever lived without it. Last night I did some scrapbook pages. I seriously whipped these puppies together in 10 minutes! I have tons of scrapbooking to do from like a year ago, but of course I had to scrapbook the family pictures we just took! I love the pics of the baby and the hubby. Probably because they are my two favorite people in the whole world!

On a random note, I really want to get a photography portfolio going. If anyone is interested in having pictures taken let me know. 

Our first family pictures!

I have wanted to take family pictures for a while now. Since Friday was such a beautiful day, we headed up Provo Canyon to take pictures. I had all these fun ideas, but I couldn't get the hubby to do them. Maybe next time ;) We used our trusty tripod to take most of the pictures. It's no easy task trying to figure out poses when you need to be in the picture too. I'm happy with the way they turned out. I know I'm biased, but I think I have a cute little family!
